"DROP YOUR RESUME HERE!"

Hello there! :) Its been a while! Its nice to be back. haha. Well, I just want to vent out my feelings towards something, (something?haha!) Well, as you can see on the title, "Drop your resume here!" so I guess you already have a clue to as where this is about. Yes, its about my experiences going on to some of the hospitals in the metro to go on and apply for a job as a nurse.

At first, I tried to call-in first, and out of 40 hospitals that I called, only 5 were open to accept applications, and take note!!! only for VOLUNTEER NURSE POSITION! So I said to myself, even if it is just for a volunteer nurse position, I would still accept it kasi sayang naman ang experience. But but but, pahirapan pa rin pala kahit volunteer lang ang inaapplayan mo.

Tapos, I would hear stories pa from other people na hindi sila nag apply sa pinapasukan nilang hospital kasi may BACKER sila! LIFE IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO UNFAIR! haha! :) But we have to face the reality, kung wala kang backer, you will not have as much chance as other people who do have someone to back their applications up. Ang swerte naman nila. At malas sa mga wala, katulad ko. But I don't have anything against doon sa mga may backer, di naman nila kasalanan na ganun na yung naging practice. :)

Dito applicable ang kasabihang, "Patience is a virtue" dahil patience kung patience talaga ang labanan! I respect those people na ibang field muna ang tinatahak nila, kasi kung titignan mo ang situation, parang hopeless ang status ng nursing profession dito sa Philippines. Kung pwede lang mag abroad na ngayon kahit walang experience, as in NOW NA! siguro nandun na ako. hahaha! :)

Lord, continue to guide us na naghahanap pa rin ng work hanggang ngayon sa hospitals, bring us to the institution that you think we are most needed. amen :)
